Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Subaru Ascent- Video

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2019 Subaru Ascent, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver. Before we do that though, let's take a couple minutes, check this out and make sure it's gonna work for you. Right off the bat, one of the cool things about this setup is the fact that the hitch can be completely hidden whenever you're not using it. And that's because it sits behind the fascia, and because of its position, it'll allow you to take your removable panel and pop that back into place. And everything looks completely factory back here, but when you're ready to use it, remove a couple of fasteners down here, this pops out, and now you have complete access to it. more

etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Subaru Ascent- Video

Hello neighbor, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2019 Subaru Ascent. Now this is what the hitch looks like when it's installed and the great part about it is is this access panel, when not using the hitch, goes right in place here and it's gonna completely hide that hitch. There's nothing bumping into this. So you get that nice clean OEM look when you're not using the hitch, but when you want to use it pop out your push pins, pull this out and then you get the utility of your hitch. Now this hitch is gonna be a two inch by two inch which is really a standard size so it's gonna be really easy to find accessories whether it be a ball mount, a cargo carrier, or a bike rack as our neighbor's going to be intending to use it for. Now, when putting your accessories in place it's gonna take a five eights pin and clip. more

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2021 Subaru Ascent- Video

Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over, and showing you how to install, the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver here on a 2021 Subaru Ascent. So, the nice thing about the Draw-Tite hitch, is that it's actually hidden behind our factory knockout panel. Therefore, when we're not using the hitch, we get a completely factory-like installation. But, when we're ready to use it, it's super simple to remove this panel here. We're gonna have a push pin fastener on the bottom of each side. We'll take a pry tool, pry the center out, then pull it the rest of the way out. more

And that's one of my favorite things about the hitch is when we're not using it, it's not going to change any outward appearance of our Subaru.But when we do want to use it, we're going to remove the two push pins at the bottom of this panel. EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Subaru Ascent- Video

Ryan: Hey, everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, on our 2020 Subaru Ascent, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the EcoHitch class three trailer hitch receiver. So, the best part about this hitch is that it's going to sit behind our bumper. That way, whenever you're not using it, it can remain completely hidden, and that's because we're going to have an access panel that you can simply just put back in place and maintain that factory look.Most of our Ascent customers use our Subarus to do a little bit of everything, which not only includes towing, but also carrying hitch-mounted accessories. Well, this is going to be a good all around hitch for that, and that's for a couple of different reasons. Since it does sit behind our bumper, that's going to bring it up off the ground more, so it's going to give us a really good ground clearance, and it's going to give us good bumper clearance.So, what I mean by that is, the end of the receiver tube, even though it is hidden, it's going to be pretty much flush here with the edge of our bumper, so that's going to give us more than enough space to use any folding accessories that we might have without having to worry about them contacting the back of our car.And for those of you that do plan on doing quite a bit of towing, this hitch is going to be set up really good for that. more

Everything's nice and hidden. But whenever you are ready to use it, this center panel here will be easily removed. Going to be a couple of clips down at the bottom of it, see how those removed, and simply pop this off out of the way, and now you'll have full access to be able to use your hitch for towing a trailer, or even your accessories. That's my favorite thing about this hitch: it's going to be nice and hidden when you want it to be, but whenever we need it to use it, we're not going to have to sacrifice any functionality or ease of use.And what I mean by that is a couple of different things. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Subaru Ascent C13400- Video

Today on our 2019 Subaru Ascent we're going to be taken a look at and showing you how to install our Class III 2" Curt trailer hitch receiver. This is what our hitch is going to look like installed. Even though the whole hitch is mostly visible, it does flow nicely with the lines and shape of our back bumper. It's also a bonus that the end of our receiver tube sits out a little bit past our back bumper. Now this is an advantage because if we're using any folding accessories we won't have any interference with our vehicle itself.And this is a Class III hitch, so it's going to utilize that 2" by 2" opening. It's also going to have your standard size 5/8ths hitch pin hole, which it does not come included with the hitch pin and clip. more

Now you might be asking yourself, "Well, I don't see any hitch"Well, that's because it's hidden behind the panel right here in the center. So whenever you want to use it, simply pull that off, and you're ready to hook up and go. When you're not using it, the panel simply slides back in, pushes in place, and no one is the wiser you have a hitch installed.This is a class three, two inch by two inch receiver, so it's gonna be great for all of your towing needs. From bike racks, to cargo carriers, to trailers, it's gonna handle just about everything.It uses a 5/8 inch hitch pinning clip. Best 2019 Subaru Ascent Trailer Hitch Options- Video

Today we're looking at the best hitch options for our 2019 Subaru Ascent. On the top we have our draw tite. Below that we have our ecohitch. At the bottom we have our curt. Of the three my favorite is the draw tite, here, but we're going to cover some of the differences and similarities between the three. One of the biggest differences is that are top two here are going to be hidden behind the bumper while our curt is going to hang out below the bottom and you are going to be able to see the cross tube. more
